Described by Macalister (1913, 215, XVI), who dated it to 1686, as ‘a fragment lying on the step of the sanctuary, with the following letters in raised capitals: ‘IHS | PRAY FOR THE | SOVLE OF FLOR | ENCE HEYNE | WHOE DEYED | THE 24 OF MAR | CH 86 THIS M | …ITRE’. It could not be located on inspection in October 2018. (Bradley and Dunne 1992, 39)
