What is recorded here

On the crest of a ridge in farmland. Classified by McCaffrey (1952, 112, no. 9) as a much-denuded circular ‘Earthen fort’ (diam. c. 40m). Apart from a low bank which survives from NW to NE, no visible surface trace survives. The bank is overlain by a later field wall.
