What is recorded here

Discovered during field-walking after the January/February 2014 storms (pers. comm. M. Gibbons). On a narrow stony shoreline (Wth 4-5m) above a smooth bedrock shore, c.118m almost due S of St. MacDara’s Church (GA076-020001-). Two human skulls lying 2m apart aligned on an ENE-WSW axis with the skulls apparently at E and facing S are visible. A third skull “in line” with the other two was also noted (ibid.) This is one of three locations where the storms have revealed previously unrecorded burials: see also GA076-024---- and GA076-025----. Compiled by: Gearóid Conroy Date of upload: 08 April 2014
