Within W half of ringfort (GA074-004----). A well-preserved subrectangular CBG (N-S c. 24m, E-W c. 21m) delimited to W by the scarp of the ringfort; elsewhere no visible enclosing element survives. The area contains unworked and uninscribed grave-markers, aligned E-W, many of which are cluttered around a hawthorn bush at E.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'. Compiled by Olive Alcock, Kathy de hÓra and Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
