What is recorded here

In level grassland. Well-preserved almost circular ringfort (D 36m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. Traces of stone revetment are visible on parts of the inner bank, and numerous breaches in the banks appear modern. A ringfort (GA073-126----) lies c. 100m to S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
