On a natural rise in marshy land prone to flooding. A poorly preserved irregular enclosure (E-W c. 30m, N-S c 20m) defined by a bank which survives at W and N. A later earthen field wall appears to overlie the bank from N to NE. From SE to SW, the monument has been destroyed as a result of the construction of a farmhouse. Traces of an almost levelled field wall, running from E to W, are visible within the interior.
