In the NE corner of an annexe off the S side of what is regarded as the earliest church (GA069-001007-) at Annaghdown (Harbison 1975, 81). This graveslab (L 1.87m; T 0.1m), which is broken into three pieces, tapers slightly from the E end (Wth 0.5m) to the W end (Wth 0.57m). Two incised lines running down the centre of the fragments open into a trefoil at the tip of the E fragment. A small incised triskele within a circle is visible to the S of the trefoil. The graveslab probably dates to between the late 15th and 16th centuries (pers. comm. J. Higgins, August 1988).
