At the foot of a hillslope c. 140m NNW of a CBG (GA067-018----). This holy well, correctly Tobar Gráineog (?), consists of a natural spring enclosed by a circular drystone wall (D 1.6m). According to local tradition it was used for the baptism of young children. The altar, which lies c. 6m to SE, consists of a ruinous rectangular platform (L 1.8m, Wth 1.2m, H 0.6m) of drystone construction. The latter is mistakenly referred to by Killanin (1947, 120, 124) as a megalithic tomb.
