What is recorded here

On foreshore just above HWM at S end of the island. It consists of a natural circular, but shallow, bowl-shaped hollow (D 0.2m) on the sloping, S face of a prominent rock. Associated with St Macdara whose island is visible to S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. I - West Galway'.
