On a hillock in grassland. Well-preserved oval rath (N-S 57m, E-W 48m) defined byan inner bank at NW, and elsewhere by a scarp. Traces of an intervening fosse and outer bank survive at W. Entrance causeway at W. Quarrying has encroachedupon the monument at SE.
