On a rise in gently undulating grassland. A subcircular area (E-W 9m, N-S 7m) enclosed by a bank of earth and stone; traces of an outer bank are visible at W. Within the interior are numerous small set stones; field-clearance rubble is also evident.(O'Flanagan 1927, Vol. 1, 243)
