On W bank of a small stream. The spot is known locally as a holy well, and a pilgrimage was held on Lady's Day (15th August) in the past. No visible surface trace survives, the stream has been dredged and this may have resulted in the destruction of the well. A church (GA059-045----) and graveyard lie 30m to NW.
