On a patch of exposed limestone pavement in flat open grassland. Aerial reconnaissance in November 1987 (ASGAP 384:20-3, 27) revealed traces of old stone walls within a modern, though unreclaimed, field: 220m NW-SE by 210m NE-SW. A number of small irregular fields are visible but no overall pattern is apparent. A group of modern farm buildings occupies E corner of the modern field. Not visited. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
