On a N-facing slope in grassland. Known locally as 'Lisheen', this poorly preserved oval rath (N-S 42m, E-W 29.6m) is defined by two banks and an intervening fosse from W through N to E. A field wall cuts the monument at E and W, to S of which a scarp forms the enclosing element. According to local information, there was a CBG (GA057-050001-) within the interior. Just outside the rath to W, a number of hollows are visible; possibly from the result of quarrying
