On low-lying level ground. Marked on 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1933) as a subcircular enclosure (NW-SE c. 40m) cut along W side and from NE to SW by two modern field walls. The latter wall is still present, and a curving scarp line to NW of it indicates the outline of the monument. No visible surface trace of the enclosing element survives to SE it.
