Immediately SE of a church (GA056-085001-). What survives is the stump of a circular tower (D c. 3.25m, H 2.5m) composed of large well-dressed and coursed limestone blocks. Seven courses of masonry still stand on N side, above a basal plinth, but S side is reduced to the foundations revealing a rubble core. According to Barrow (1979, 98-9), this is probably the tower referred to in the Annals as being erected at 'Annadown' in 1238 (see GA056-069001-).
