In low-lying scrubland. Almost circular cashel (D c. 32m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall overlain by a field wall from WNW to N and from N to ESE by the td. boundary wall. Within WNW sector of the interior is a rectangular grassed-over stone structure (NNE-SSW; L 3.5m, Wth 1.2m) with a gap (Wth 0.75m) in SW wall; possibly a house. A collapsed stone wall runs NE-SW through W half of the interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
