Discovered during quarrying 'about 1909 1/4 three or four hundred yards' [c. 275-365m] S of a tumulus (GA055-006----). An 'Urn' [H c. 0. 3m] was reported to have been found just below ground level. It had presumably been placed in a pit, mouth upwards, as it is recorded to have contained cremated bone and been covered by a large flat stone (Costello 1924a, 118; Waddell 1975, 14; 1990, 90).
