At W end of a low gravel ridge near E shore of Lough Corrib. Known locally as 'An Carn Bheag', it was described in 1925 as 'an untouched Cairn of stones' (Costello 1924a, 118). What is visible is a low poorly preserved and densely overgrown almost circular mound (D c. 21.5m) with a central depression, suggesting some robbing out of material. Possibly similar to GA055-001001-, 675m to NNE, and GA055-006----, 750m to NE. (Killanin and Duignan 1967, 304-5)
