On N slope of Corkernarusheeny Hill. A subcircular cashel (E-W 30.6m; N-S 25.6m) in fair condition, defined by a drystone wall overlain by a modern field wall. A gap at NNE also appears modern. Another cashel lies close by to S (GA054-065----). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. I - West Galway'.
