Prominently situated on the summit of Knockacarna, a low hill to NE of Buffy Lough. Sub-circular flat-topped cairn of angular stones (N-S 19.5m, E-W c. 18m, H 2.15m). There is a large area of disturbance on E side. (Killanin and Duignan 1967, 381)
