On a low ridge overlooking Lough Corrib to NE. The remains comprise a medieval church (E-W; L 15.4m, Wth 6m) with later S transept (L 4.15m, Wth 4.05m). There is a doorway in S wall and opposing windows at E end of N and S walls, all robbed. The E gable contains a single-light ogee-headed window. A second doorway at end of S wall leads to the transept which is lit by a twin-light window, crowned by a circular ope, in S wall. The large graveyard is mainly modern but its curving N wall may reflect the line of an early ecclesiastical enclosure. Possibly the site of St Cummin's E. Chr. monastery.
