On a NE-facing bog-covered mountain slope. During the course of turf-cutting operations a row of spaced stones was noted c. 2.3m below the surface of the bog. The stones occurred at intervals running in a line roughly E-W. They consisted of flat slabs of mica-schist. There was at least 1.5m of bog below the turf-cutting level. Possibly stepping stones.
