On E face of a small scarp on Daily Hill, 0.5km NW of Ballyconneely. A wet hollow among stones is all that marks this 'unfinished' holy well which is associated with St Caíllín. According to local tradition, the saint, having left Errislannan, stopped here but, on hearing St Flannan's bell, realised he hadn't gone far enough and moved on toward Slyne Head where his real well is to be found (GA048-012----) (info. T. Robinson). Not visited.
