What is recorded here

on a steep N-facing slope, immediately NE of a holy well (GA047-007----). An unenclosed almost square area (L/Wth 8m) within which are a number of limestone grave-markers. According to local information, children were buried here up to 50 years ago. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
