On a hummock in gently undulating pasture and bogland. Known locally as a 'lios', it consists of a very poorly preserved subcircular ringfort (N-S 18m) defined by a scarp (H 1.5m max.). A field wall cuts the monument at N and S. A limekiln has been built into the scarp at E. According to local tradition, there is a 'cave' (possible souterrain) in NW quadrant of the interior but no visible surface trace of it survives. An early ecclesiastical enclosure (GA045-011001-) lies c. 100m to SW.
