On top of an esker ridge in farmland. Marked on 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map as a rectangular enclosure (NE-SW c. 40m, NW-SW c. 30m). The ridge has been quarried out and all that survives is a 15m length of three banks and two intervening fosses.
