In undulating grassland in an area of outcropping rock and scrubland. This possible house site(12.5m NNE-SSW; 5m WNW-ESE 5m), rectangular in plan, is defined by a grassed-over bank of earth and stone (Wth 1.6m) and an external fosse. The interior is overgrown with bushes and a tree. A pit has been dug immediately to the NE of the site and a stony mound lies immediately to its SSW. This may be the remains of the house marked at this location on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map.
