This cross-slab is built into the W end of the S wall of the nave of ‘Templenaneeve’ (GA040-013004-). According to Higgins (1987, vol. II, 343, no. 68), the sides of the slab (Wth 1.1m; H 0.89m) are partly covered by mortar and its full extent is uncertain. It bears an elaborate three-line cross with semi-circular expansional terminals and a central roundel at the junction of the arms and shaft. The roundel and terminals are decorated with a key or fret pattern. Overall the design is a bit asymmetrical. This cross-slab is almost identical to one on High Island - see GA021-026039- (Scally 2014, 309, Pl. 10.3).
