In E half of Killeen Lake. Killanin (1954, 101) records that 'the island in [this lake] is reputed to be a crannog'. The 2nd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1898) shows two islets, the easternmost and more substantial of which is a roughly triangular island (c. 20m by c. 15m) mantled in overgrowth. This is probably the island referred to, though no archaeological features are visible. Inspected from lake shore only.
