In an area of pastureland and exposed bogland, immediately to the N of a NW-SE running field boundary. A hollow (diam. c. 20m), which appears to be a disused gravel pit, is known locally as a children’s burial ground. No grave-markers are visible (information from B. Doherty, Galway Community Archaeologist).
