On a hill summit in undulating grassland overlooking bogland to S. Well-preserved subcircular rath (N-S 44m, E-W 38.5) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The enclosing elements do not survive at N. Well-defined entrance (Wth 4.5m) at S. A field wall cuts the monument at NE and NW.
