Close to the summit of a hill in undulating grassland. Well-preserved subcircular rath (E-W 51.4m, N-S 45.4m) defined by a bank and external fosse; the latter is present from SE through W to NW. Traces of a possible outer bank are visible from SE to S. A number of cattle gaps breach the inner bank.
