On a SW-facing slope in pastureland. A very poorly preserved subcircular barrow (WNW-ESE 17.8m) consisting of a flat central area (D 10.3m), evidently much disturbed, which is enclosed by an earthen bank/scarp, best preserved at E and from S to W. There was a CBG (GA029-143001-) in the interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
