On a S-facing slope overlooking marshy land. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (N-S 51m, E-W 48m) defined by two banks of earth and stone and an intervening fosse. The inner bank is present from E to S, and a scarp forms the enclosing element from NE to E and from SW toWNW; no visible surface trace survives elsewhere. A gap at E could be original. A field fence has been built on the line of the outer bank from NW to E. There is a souterrain (GA029-001001-) within the interior. (Killanin and Duignan 1967, 447; Weir 1980, 151)
