During excavations works within the church (GA021-026014-) on High Island, the base of a leacht (1.2m N-S; 1.2m E-W) was uncovered in the SW corner. Its N and E sides were defined by a long slender stone set on edge and the core material consisted of small flat stones (Scally 2014, 70).
