In pastureland overlooking a turlough to S. Marked on 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1933) as an oval enclosure (NW-SE c. 45m, NE-SW c. 35m) partially planted with trees and with a large opening at N. The monument has been levelled and only the faint outline of a fosse (Wth 1.5m) is visible at E and S. (Knight c. 1975, 112)
