On a rise in rolling grassland overlooking bogland to N. Known locally as 'Kelly's Fort' (Neary 1914, 123, no. 144), this poorly preserved subcircular rath (N-S c. 25m, E-W 22.5m) is defined by a degraded scarp and external fosse from NE through E to S. No visible surface trace survives elsewhere. Field banks cut the monument at NE and SSW. A number of hollows within the interior are the result of quarrying.
