In grassland on a prominent rise within a meander of the Sinking River. An oval enclosure (NNE-SSW 72m, WNW-ESE 25m), in fair condition, defined by a bank from N through E to SSE; elsewhere a scarp forms the enclosing element. Entrance at NNE. A field boundary overlies the bank from SE to S. There are three other 'forts' (see GA017-027----) in this td. (Neary 1914, 123, no. 80)
