On E-facing slope of a rise inundulating grassland. Known locally as 'Hill Fort' (Neary 1914, 123, no. 151), this circular rath (D 46m), in fair condition, is defined by two banks and anintervening fosse. The inner bank is present from Ethrough S to N; elsewhere a scarp forms the enclosingelement. The outer bank is overlain by a field bankfrom ENE through S to NNW. Within the interior is acircular structure of grassed-over stone (D 4.8m), possibly a house.
