On flat ground in a house cluster called Templetogher, through which flows a stream on a roughly SSW-NNE axis. The visible remains comprise a group of monuments of ecclesiastical character centred on a church (GA006-122003-) and graveyard (GA006-122004-) on E bank of the stream. Immediately outside the graveyard to W, a gently curving low earthen bank (Wth 1.5-2m, H 0.4m max.) and traces of an external fosse are visible from SW through W to NW. This is possibly the remains of an early ecclesiastical enclosure. There is a bullaun (GA006-122002-) and a holy well (GA006-122006-) on W bank of the stream, 55m NNW and 85m N of the church respectively. The 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1930) also shows 'St. Patrick's Shrine' (GA006-122001-), 140m to NNE. Situated on W bank of the stream, it now comprises a statue of the saint, and a water-filled trough, set in a circular concrete surround erected in 1962. Finally, there is a 19th-C corn mill and kiln on the bank of the stream to W of the church.
