On the submit of a low hill in undulating grassland overlooking bogland to S. Marked on 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map as an oval enclosure (c. 55m by c. 40m) cut by a field wall at S. Described by Knight (c. 1975, 110) as 'a Danish fort'. No visible surface trace survives. A stone structure (unclassified) (GA006-001001-) stood within the interior.
