On S-facing slopes of Checker Hill. Known locally as 'Moore's Fort (Neary 1914, 120, no. 6), this poorly preserved overgrown circular ringfort (D 27m) is defined by a drystone wall, intervening fosse and a stone-lined outer bank of earth. There is an entrance (Wth 2m) at E. According to local tradition, there was a 'cave' (possible souterrain) within the interior. A large pit (L/Wth 7m) at S is said to mark its site. However, this afppears more likely to be a gravel pit. Two ringforts (GA005-086----, GA005-087----) lie c. 230m to W and c. 180m to SW respectively.
