In low-lying grassland with bogland to N and E. Known locally as 'McGuires Fort' (Neary 1914, 119, no. 16), this poorly preserved circular rath (D 35.6m) is defined by a scarp, intervening fosse and outer bank; quarried out at SSW. The fosse and outer bank are present from NW through N to NE. A field bank cuts the monument at NE and S. A souterrain (GA005-005----) lies c. 275m to W.
