On W-facing slope of Peak Hill. A well-preserved subcircular rath (NE-SW 33m), known locally as 'Crossroad Fort' (Neary 1914, 118, no. 40), defined by two stone-faced banks and an intervening fosse. A gap (Wth 4m) at NE may be original. Neary (ibid.) noted the existence of a third bank of which no visible surface trace survives. There is probable souterrain (GA005-011001-) in the interior.
