On a ridge in grassland overlooking a small stream to S. Marked on 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (D c. 30m) and noted by Neary (1914, 121, no. 157) as a 'circular, earthen fort', known locally as 'Addergoole-Beg Fort'. No visible surface trace survives. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
