Known locally as the 'Shed Stone' this tomb is situated on the N bank of a stream at the head of Glenasmole valley. It comprises of an oblong boulder (L2.30m, Wth 1.90m; 0.75m) single chamber (int. dims. L 1.25m; Wth 0.9m-1.45m; H 1.35m) supported by two granite portal stones (H 1.08m and 0.55m respectively) and a backstone of granite that carries a massive capstone (L 2.1m; Wth 1.6m; D 0.6m). Loose boulders lie around the perimeter of the tomb (McDix 1925, 122; Price 1940, 123; Healy 1961, 115-6)
