What is recorded here

Situated on the NW-facing slope of Larch Hill. A cist uncovered in 1927 during gravel extraction (Waddell 1970, 115). An enlarged food vessel was found in the cist. The pottery is decorated externally with cord-like decoration and there is zig-zag in a herringbone design in the interior (Mount 1989, 32; Waddell 1990, 81). Not visible at ground level.
