Situated on sloping pasture above the Owendoher river valley. A single chambered tomb facing NW is formed by a massive granite roofstone (L 6.3m; Wth 3.15m; D 1.3m) which rests on a broken portal (H 2.44m). The other portal lies close by (L 4.4m; Wth 1.1m) (Borlase 1897, 2, 282-5; Ó Nualláin 1983, 82, 90; Turner 1983, No. 6). A drawing by Gabriel Beranger (1781) shows more stones around the monument than there are today (Ball 1906, 48-9).
