What is recorded here

Situated close to the summit of Slievenabawnoge Hill, c. 25m W of a cairn (1306 feet) which marks the trigonometrical station. A barrow consisting of a circular hollow (diam. 12.2m) defined by a bank of loose stone (Wth 1.5m; H 0.4-0.9m). There is a gap in the bank in the N (1.3m) and S (0.8m). A section of drystone wall extends up the slope and joins the W side of this feature. The Hill has been recently planted with pine trees.
